Gerade läuft "Diamond in the Firepit" zum 6. Mal durch meine Gehörgänge. Es ist schon ein Kreuz mit dem guten alten Hard Rock, war er doch Vorreiter für härtere Klänge und ist daher nicht mehr aus dem Rock-Genre wegzudenken. Hard Rock stammt aus einer Zeit, in der rückblickend die scheinbar heile Welt noch in Ordnung war. Brother Firertribe erinnern mich stark an die Klangwelt der achtziger Jahre, in denen Rocky seine Widersacher noch locker von der Platte fegte und nach "Eye Of The Tiger" von Survivor in die Arena einlief.
Diese Zeiten sind nun lange vorbei, die Musik jedoch lebt weiter und wird von derzeit vielen Bands zu neuem Leben erweckt. Btrother Firetribe gründeten sich bereits im Jahr 2002. Ihr Debüt wiederum, kam via Spine Farm Records erst 2006 zur Welt. 2008 legten sie mit "Heart Full Of Fire" nach und nun steht "Diamond in the Firepit" in den Startlöchern. Empu von Nightwish in der Liste der Bandmitglieder vorzufinden, ist zwar Musik in meinen Ohren, jedoch hat die Musik von Brother Firertribe nichts mit dem Sound der Symphonic-Könige gemein. Pekka (Gesang) und seine Mannen, bieten auf dem aktuellen Longplayer weichgespülten Hard Rock feil, der zu keinem Zeitpunkt auch nur ansatzweise die Härtegrade von Magnum erreicht. Diese sind ebenfalls nicht aus Stahl, aber das nur rein informativ, damit man sich vorstellen kann, welchen musikalischen ph-Wert der Indikator anzeigt.
Die Songs sind in der Tat durchdacht und versprühen gute Laune. Handwerklich einwandfrei in Szene gesetzt und mit jeder Menge Hit-Potential, durchforsten sie die Hochzeit des Hard Rocks. Genre-Fans werden mit Sicherheit Gefallen an diesem Wattebausch der Rockmusik finden. Der Track "For Better Or For Worse" ist ein Sahnestück "rockmusikalischer" Kulturgeschichte mit 80er-Style. Aber auch andere Tracks auf "Diamond in the Firepit" können diesem Song das Wasser reichen. Mir persönlich hat das 3. Studio Album der Finnen zu lange im Weichspüler gelegen. Die Produktion ist erstklassig und daher können Genre-Fans bedenkenlos reinhören, während Metaller tunlichst die Finger von dem Teil lassen sollten.

Right now ‚Diamond in the Firepit‘ is running for the sixth time through my ear canals. It is a cross with the good old Hard Rock which was a pioneer for harder sounds and is therefore an indispensable part of the Rock genre. Hard Rock comes from a time when the seemingly perfect world was still looking back in order. Brother Firetribe reminds me of the sound world of the 80s, in which Rocky still loosely swept his opponents from the plate and entered the arena with ‘Eye of the Tiger’ by Survivor being played.
Those times are now long gone, but the music lives on and is currently brought back to life by many bands. Brother Firetribe was founded already in 2002. Their debut, in turn, was born via Spinefam Records in 2006. In 2008 they added ‘Heart Full Of Fire’ and right now you can find “Diamond in the Firepit’ in the starting blocks. To find Empu of Nightwish in the list of the band members sounds like music to my ears but the music of Brother Firetribe has nothing in common with the sound of the symphonic kings. On the current longplayer, Pekka (vocals) and his men are offering soft-watered Hard Rock which reaches at no time even to some extent the degree of hardness of Magnung. These are also not made out of steel, just on a side note so you can imagine what musical pH-value the indicator is showing.
The songs are well thought out indeed and spray a good mood. Technically flawlessly staged and with a lot of hit-potential they scour the marriage of Hard Rock. Genre fans will certainly find favor in this cotton ball of Rock music. The track ‘For Better Or For Worse’ is a real cream piece of the ‘rock music’ cultural history with 80s style. Also other tracks on ‘Diamond in the Firepit’ can hold a candle to this song. For my taste the third studio album by the Finns has been lying too long in the fabric softener. The production is top notch and therefore genre fans can safely listen to it while Metallers should stay away from this thing.
