Die Irischen Extrem Metaller Vile Regression veröffentlichten heute den Song "Tides" via YouTube. Der Track stammt vom kommenden Album, welches auf den Namen "Empires" hört und am 21. Juli 2014 unter die Massen gebracht wird. Den Track könnt ihr euch nachfolgend ansehen. Thematisch behandelt das Album die großen Felder menschlicher Emotionen und sowie das Potential eines Individuums, bzw. die maximale Erreichbarkeit des Potentials eines Menschen. Die Band kommentiert hierzu:
"Some of the central themes of 'Empires' deal with different aspects of human emotions such as reaching your potential in life and being the master of your own empire, as well as the observation of crumbling empires around us. Musically the record marks a shift towards a somewhat more technical execution, fluid solos while maintaining groove and hooks. We feel 'Tides' embodies the overall feel of the record perfectly."
Vile Regression gründeten sich 2010 aus den Überresten der Band Vistor Q. 2011 veröffentlichte die Band bereits ihr Debüt Album via Cascet Music. Nun steht "Empires" in den Startlöchern. dessen Aufnahmearbeiten bereits im Jahr 2013 begannen. Ville Regression setzen viel Hoffnung in dieses Album, dessen Arbeitstitel für Kraft und Zuversicht steht. Die Band dazu: “We feel, ‘Empires’ is a very powerful word, invoking strength and confidence. The title came from the overarching theme within the lyrics, that being positivity and empowerment in ones life.”
