BARREN EARTH, die finnischen Progressive Death Metaller stecken momentan inmitten der Vorbereitungen für die Aufnahmen des Nachfolgers ihres 2015er Albums “On Lonely Towers”. Die sechsköpfige Truppe wird das neue Material in den Woodshed Studios im März aufnehmen. Als Produzent steht ihnen hier V. Santura zur Seite.

Sänger Jón sagte dazu Folgendes: "We are working towards a darker and more aggressive feel, which we attempt to express both experimentally and with a good dose of blunt force!"

Produzent V. Santura fügte hinzu:  “I am really excited about working with Barren Earth! The guys are fantastic musicians and the demo material I’ve heard so far sounds very promising."
