Hier kommt eine geballte Ladung News aus dem Hause Napalm Records. Life Of Agony sind zurück! Eine der einflussreichsten und eigenständigsten Bands der neunziger Jahre meldet sich nach über zehn Jahren mit einem neuen Studioalbum zurück. Sänger(in) Mina Caputo, Gitarrist Joey Z, Bassist Alan Robert und Drummer Sal Abruscato kehren 2014 für einige Shows auf die Bühnen zurück.
Inzwischen haben sie Nägel mit Köpfen gemacht und einen Vertrag beim Österreichischen Label Napalm Records unterschrieben. Erste Albumdetails sind ebenfalls schon bekannt. Titel und auch das Cover Artwork stehen schon jetzt fest, wobei wir auf einen genauen Termin der VÖ noch warten müssen. Was soll's, das Buch der Legendären Brooklyn-Crossover-Band ist wieder aufgeschlagen und wird hoffentlich bald neue, interessante Kapitel preisgeben.
Bassist Alan Robert kommentierte die Rückkehr wie folgt: "I think our fans know that our music comes from a very real place of suffering, from all of us in the band. Many of our fans have told us over the years that sharing our personal struggles has been cathartic for them in healing the pain in their own lives. That uplifting energy we share at the shows, gives us hope that there's light at the end of the tunnel. And for us and hopefully our fans, that short time when we're all together is a place where there's no more pain."
Thomas Caser von Napalm records ließ verlauten: "Life Of Agony is without a doubt one of the most exciting and energetic Rock bands of our times. It is an honour to work with such talent, we are excited to announce their signing to Napalm Records and release the band's first album after over a decade."
